It maybe a military blanket though that design doesn't appear to be held anywhere online.

 

The reason the British Army had vertical lines placed in the centre was to assist soldiers making 'Bed Blocks' The order was blanket, sheet, blanket, sheet, blanket all encased in a blanket....
