skinsfan Posted July 19, 2023 #1 Posted July 19, 2023 Hello ,just picked up this 43 dated jacket as well as other Canadian equipment in a large lot...I have not been able to identify the unit green/yellow...I see Green is usually 4th division but cannot find the two together,.Seller believed this to be a soldier in the Rock mntn brigade but i can't find a match there either .Thanks in advance to any help i can get...Scott

It appears you have a British 'Reconnaissance Corps' Battledress Blouse. The shoulder titles and service bar are from that Corps. The Canadian's also had reconnaissance units though I understand their shoulder titles were regimental specific. I could be corrected on this last point. skinsfan Posted July 21, 2023 Author #3 Posted July 21, 2023 that sure looks like it....most of the gear with the lot was Canadian property marked but no telling what got mismatched over the years...the pants are,but they are late war dated....Thanks very much...I just wanted my first Canadian jacket and it looks like I goofed...the pics were kind of small and i pulled the trigger quickly....Many thanks,Scott

If you see my answer regarding the boots it maybe that the items should have been labelled 'Britain and Commonwealth' as opposed to just Canadian. Kind regards Gunner ...
