I've only got this photo to go on, not sure if it's something worthwhile to go see in person.  Any help appreciated.

Hello RMEAV8R.

As I'm sure you know that is a Brodie helmet but the flash is that of the Irish Defence Force, 2nd Brigade also known as 2nd (Eastern) Brigade.

Thanks, I wasn't familiar with the flash and not 100% sure that was a Brodie or just similar. Thanks for the quick ID.

This may assist you in the value... it went for £180.00 https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/1939-dated-british-army-mk-ii-helmet-used-by-the--307-c-1e64528a8a

The term Brodie is a little misleading as it's only correctly applied to the original 1915 Brodie's Steel Helmet, War Office Pattern. As such, this may have been manufactured by one of many companies but is the Brodie pattern.

The screw holding in the liner seems to be a modern replacement?
