Marine1058 Posted April 27, 2024 #1 Posted April 27, 2024 Here is another flag I have, but don’t think it’s real
themick Posted April 28, 2024 #3 Posted April 28, 2024 That's a great set of field gear and flag you have. Thanks for sharing. Steve
Proud Kraut Posted April 28, 2024 #4 Posted April 28, 2024 The field gear seems to be in used but excellent condition, very nice! There´s a "Helgoland" stamp on the Reichskriegsflagge. May I ask why do you think it´s not original?
Marine1058 Posted April 28, 2024 Author #5 Posted April 28, 2024 I am nowhere near being a expert on WW1 flags. I shared pictures with members on other militaria sites, that said that the flag was not correct.

Marine1058 Posted April 28, 2024 Author #7 Posted April 28, 2024 I would like a expert in that field take a look at it.
jayhawkhenry Posted June 5, 2024 #8 Posted June 5, 2024 I would love to see the markings on the Y straps, I have never run across WWI examples. Also some close ups of the canteen cover. The cover looks very different from examples I have.
