This one I'm unsure about. I'm not sure if it's an original or a marriage between an original post war board and a new base. The top plaited section is glued to the cardboard base and rayon border. The edge of the rayon is sewn to the cardboard. The back is black wool. Under blue light there are a network of light blue lines (not violet, light blue) holding the braiding together. This is difficult to photograph. The tongue is a thin strip of felt like material. Does this board look fake or is it probably ok please? Thank you

I'm thinking that the glued construction and glowing lines under black light make this a copy, although it has a metal (magnetic) strengthener in it. The base is nicely constructed with V stitching around the edge attaching the rayon to the card base. I'm thinking an old fake? Anybody know about the construction of these please? Thank you
