I did these pics ages ago under covid lock down, not just random as I worked in firearms manufacture, I considered technical feasibility but allowed for some complete fantasy. 

 

( allow for the fact I have no knowledge of photo editing and did it on a free app)

I guess the Thompsten actually sort of happened with the Sten Mk.V, and the FG42 in 7.92 Kurz would also have been quite possible. Fun exercise!

Well...   not sure what to say about these; as a Thompson owner, however, I beg to differ about its "great ergonomics." It's front-heavy and the stock could stand to lose at least an inch. About the only one I find worse is the Hakim.
