Real or fake ww2 German canteen and cover

I got this German canteen and cover for a few bucks and just wanted to see if it is real or not. I have a original one that looks a lot like it but just want to make sure. Thanks

The cover and cup are definitely good/WWII era.  I don't know about the aluminum bottle though with that cap on it and that it has no date markings around the neck.  It's different than your typical Wehrmacht canteen.  Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in here.
