WW2az44 Posted January 1, 2025 #1 Posted January 1, 2025 This looks like a Franco Prussian war medal, anybody tell me what the ribbon signifies? Usually, the ribbons on those are just black, white and red, but this one has blue also. Is the medal a veterans medal for serving in the Franco prussian war? I have yet to find a medal like this one with my research.
Marshallj Posted January 1, 2025 #2 Posted January 1, 2025 Looks like a commemorative medal for a veteran’s group.

SARGE Posted January 3, 2025 #4 Posted January 3, 2025 The ribbon is folded in the triangular manner of Austrian awards.
Solution Marshallj Posted January 4, 2025 Solution #5 Posted January 4, 2025 Just a guess but the image is Ludwig II of Bavaria and the colors on the ribbon are on the Bavarian coat of arms.
Marshallj Posted January 4, 2025 #7 Posted January 4, 2025 Blossers Berg is the location of the reunion I believe.
