I have been offered these three pieces of German Helmets.  I am mainly an RAF/RCAF collector so need to turn to my more knowledgeable Third Reich forum members.  This is currently the only photo I have.  The middle one I believe is a M42 combat helmet.  I do not know type and use of nos. 1 and 3.  I know condition and liners matter but is it possible to give me a generic price range for each.  Many thanks.  Any help greatly appreciated.

Paul,

The helmet on the left is a luftschutz (civil protection) gladiator helmet and on the right is a Police Shako for rural police. It is missing the push in cockade but it looks to be in good condition although as you mentioned, more images are needed of all for the liners, decal on the luftschutz helmet and makers marks inside the shako. The shako could be between $500-700, the luftschutz helmet, 350-450 and the and M42 in its condition 500 give or take... It really depends on liners and chinstraps and a host of other things where more pictures are needed..

Left side is air raid warden “Luftschutz” helmet. Looks like the decal is nearly 100%. Right side is civilian rural police shako missing the cockade. As you say condition is everything and that includes the interior. Now that you know what they are you can do your own research. If I were buying the Luftschutz the max I would pay would be $200. The police I would go as high as $500. I swear Rakkasan187 and I were typing the same time!

Thanks to Rakkasan187 and Marshallj's help.  I was able to negotiate a deal for all three pieces of headgear.  Upon seeing them the interiors were in much better condition than I had hoped for.  Here are some interior photos of helmets pictured above.  Thanks again guys.

You picked up 3 cracking pieces there!  Great shape on them and very nice the combat helm appears to have the full original chinstrap also.  Now to find the final piece for the police cap.

Thanks Brian, your comment much appreciated.  I'm going to order a repop cockade for the police shako.  It'll be a place holder until I can find an original.  ( I know tantamount to finding a needle in a stack of needles but I'll try).

Paul,

You did great getting these helmets. You should be able to see the maker of the chinstrap on the M42 and with careful manipulation you may be able to see the maker of the aluminum band as well. You should also be able to see the lot number on the helmet and that can also tell you year of manufacture..

These are all in very god condition..

Well done
