Soviet General Officer Medals and Documents

This is not my normal area of collecting, but many years ago I picked up a medal and document grouping which I believe was awarded to Major General Boobnov Youvenalli Vacilievich. I do not speak or read Russian, so this is based on some translated information which was provided with the group. The group includes his medals, a biography, several photographs and award documents, including several which are not in the attached pictures. He was also apparently involved in some sort of youth education program, and there are two magazines with his picture in them.
