Identity - Manufacturer of 1st Pattern (Heer) Pith Helmet

Wondered if someone might be able to assist me with nailing down the manufacturer connected with the logo located in sweatband of sun helmet captured. along with its wearer and a ridge east of Nissoria, Sicily in 1943. Would greatly appreciate any insight you can provide....

ORL, it might also have a ORL ink stamp on or under the liner,can you please show us some photos.

Thanks, mate. Any idea what the initials stand for? I have found a plethora of info. when searching steel helmet manufacturers, in past but nothing, really with regard to the tropenhelms.....

I believe that is how the name is pronounced, there are a s@@t load of makers, I'll try to pm you a list with photos if that's o.k.
