jeed Posted June 13 #1 Posted June 13 I can't find anything in my limited resources, can anyone help? Same marks, different light. Thanks!
Mr. Bushido Posted June 13 #2 Posted June 13 I don't know what it represents, but it's likely to be 12【十二】and 2【二】.
jangle Posted June 13 #4 Posted June 13 Although I do not see Emperor Taisho's inked character, I believe your numerals are meant to be Taisho 12 (1923), followed by =(February) The Tokyo Arsenal and Taisho ink stamps look to be the worn smudges under the numerals.
jeed Posted June 15 Author #5 Posted June 15 Thank you all for your replies. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what they say and what it means. Just in the last couple of years I started collecting some WWI - WWII Japanese items, very fascinating stuff! I should have been buying it years ago.
