The collar patches came "raw/unformed", so I hand-formed and hand-stitched them on.  The device on the ribbon bar is original, and most of its silver plating is worn off.  I hand-constructed the ribbon bar, and the ribbons themselves are reproductions, as is the pin-back bar on which they're mounted (no gaps between the individual ribbons!).

My shameless sales pitch for my favorite M43 field cap.  I got mine several years ago, although I'm not a re-enactor, and wear it during the autumn and winter months.  Strangely, I always get compliments on it.  Best cold weather winter headgear I've ever owned.  Mine is pictured.
