What German army branch is dress jacket

Found this nice jacket in a thrift store. Cream grayish in color with included tabs. Just a modern jacket? Any branch significance? Tag says, Made in Germany

It looks like it was made in East Germany.

It's probably an NVA officer's dress jacket.
