Beret of the Rwandan Government Forces, worn during the Rwandan war of 1994. 
After the Presidents of Rwanda and Burundi were killed in a rocket attack on the aircraft they were travelling in, this triggered several weeks of systematic and large scale massacres.

Fantastic piece, and I would imagine pretty scarce.

 

As a side note to your write up, the Hutu's are estimated to have killed upwards of 1 million in that short period using mostly small arms and machetes. On a mathematical level, arguably more efficient than the concentration camps of WWII. On a moral level, simply appalling...    Scott
