I am contacting you in a hurry, but I could not find any wording to identify this item.


The characters are only generic part names, such as "lens".

Better pics, and optics are dirty but clear, hard to take a Pic holding the heavy thing with my phone camera.

Also just realized is the case it's in is made of brass.

Optics are usually identified by the stenciling on the exterior of the case.

The smaller tag with the numbers 1 9 and 8 translates to: Made in August 1944, Nippon Kogaku K.K.  IF GOOGLE TRANSLATE IS ACCURATE...

90% sure it's an armored vehicle fire control sight.  Neat as heck and if it's for sale I'd like a shot at it.  Best regards, Allen
