Ilyushin Il-2 Crash Relic From Lithuania

Hi, I found a eBay dealer in Lithuania selling recovered metal bits from an Il-2 crash site in the Kurland Pocket area. It was the only piece that I could more or less identify. It’s a cover for an access hatch and is about 7 inches square, more or less. Here is a picture of a plane in flight and crashed plane with opened hatches on the wings. 
I'd love to hear more information about the plane and the cover. 
I don’t have very many Russian/Soviet things in my collection so am happy to get this.
