swag Posted October 15, 2025 #1 Posted October 15, 2025 Got this WW2 Chinese coat. Tailor label is named to H. L. Min and is dated November 25, 1942. Haven't been able to find out anything about this coat, i.e. type/model, unit, Chinese and/or Americans. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've got no interest in keeping it. Any idea on price?
themick Posted October 16, 2025 #2 Posted October 16, 2025 I would think that's a difficult jacket to find - Chinese nationalist, tailor made, dated. Steve
Ivydiv Posted October 17, 2025 #3 Posted October 17, 2025 Great piece. Never saw anything like it. Thanks for posting. Dave
Marshallj Posted October 17, 2025 #4 Posted October 17, 2025 Two guesses by me - one would be a Chinese officer in the USA assigned to some type of military mission or training or two, a Chinese officer who had it made in Hong Kong. Any idea what the laundry ticket says?
Hsin C. Posted October 30, 2025 #5 Posted October 30, 2025 On the rank insignia, it is determined that they are post war aluminum made types (from the chinese militaria group on facebook).
