Italian Alpini military cap

Hello, can anybody help me try to figure out what this Gap insignia is for or which regiment it belong to....thanks

Looks to be an armoured unit ? Hat is a Bustina with with Visor.

Hi,

 

This is an infantry garrison cap m.1959 officially came into effect in this date and was intended for the ordinary off-duty uniform. It was in use till '70.

 

Probably this is the winter version made of wool, the summer one is made by cotton.

 

Alpini cap is very different.

Thank you.... That must be what the 57 is,post-war... I thought maybe it was the size

57 in this case is the size, if you have a  picture about all the internal stamp we can try to find more info.

 Correction to my earlier post I now would say the badge is for the Infantry and if it is gold then an Non commissioned officer.
