yellowhammer history Posted March 24 #1 Posted March 24 While at a trift store I noticed a coat that looked military, after a minute of inspecting it I finally found the tag. I believe this is west german? I don't have a photo of the whole coat but I got two photos online that look to be the same. I did take a picture of the tag for future reference. I was wondering if anyone could tell me when it's from?
Proud Kraut Posted March 30 #2 Posted March 30 I was away from my PC so I couldn´t answer your question earlier. Depicted is an early West German Bundeswehr "Regenmantel" (raincoat) produced in 1959. These coats were worn by all ranks. They were replaced by a new coat in the 1980´s. Hope this helps.
