GRIZZLE Posted April 2 #1 Posted April 2 Sarge or others, did the schupo use all police marked equipment like there bread bags, did they proof the y straps and belts also, like a Luger holster is police accepted. Thanks GR
daskrieg Posted April 2 #2 Posted April 2 Bread bags were in police green, I've seen a lot of police marked leather holsters
GRIZZLE Posted April 3 Author #3 Posted April 3 Did they also police proof belts , y straps, ammo pouches , did police combat troops use lightweight or combat y straps?
daskrieg Posted April 4 #4 Posted April 4 As far as I know they used standard heer uniforms and equipment but with police insignia applied
SARGE Posted April 4 #5 Posted April 4 daskrieg is correct. A lot of police equipment was "Pol" or specifically property marked for independent police departments. Here are some typical Polizei property markings.
GRIZZLE Posted April 5 Author #6 Posted April 5 Then belts and y straps could be marked the same , I have holsters and firearms police marked , never seen a belt or y straps marked in such a way , I ask that as I am putting together a late war schupo tunic mannequin
SARGE Posted April 6 #7 Posted April 6 I have different styles of back packs that are property marked to the Railway Police, regular police, Bavarian, & Land Police. If putting together a NS period mannequin I would look for one that is marked but accept one Army marked as the Police did sometimes draw equipment from the Heer. Here is an example of one with all Pollce marked equipment. BTY, I have a spare Police marked fur box pack if you want to contact me off line. polblade@aol.com
GRIZZLE Posted April 7 Author #8 Posted April 7 Nice uniform, a rural police tunic is on the list to get, looks a like C96 holster on there . PM sent
