The first image is that of standard British magazine pouches, worn either side of the belt buckle.   They were designed for the 20rd 7.62 box magazine used on the L1A1 Self Loading Rifle (SLR), itself a derivative of the Belgian FN FAL.   The second is that of a seat of 'kidney pouches', seen here in use as a part of the 58 Pattern webbing system:   https://phillosoph.blogspot.com/2017/01/kidney-pouches-and-combat-order.html   Whilst reasonably efficient, it was constructed from web material. Consequently, it sucked up water like a sponge and could end up weighing almost half as much again at the end of a few days in the field.   Best   Mike

Look at their eyes you can see how they feel. A couple of M-43 caps have their insignia removed too.

Very nice group of goodies. I especially like the Bavarian medal bar. Any interesting information on the British medal group?

Not the usual find. I sold a NSDAP arm band and mismatched K98 bayonet before I took this picture. The camouflaged SS helmet still has its liner though it’s petrified. If you want to see some detail let me know. Notice that the two SS decals are from different manufacturers.         Notice that the two SS decals are from different makers.

Saw these at a barn sale. Broad Arrow stamped with the date 1967. What are these magazine pouches for and is there a market for them.     Additionally, they had these kidney pouches as well. Same questions as above. What are they for?

A small pamphlet in my collection. Printed  in occupied France by the German-Vichy regime, A translation of the speech delivered on December 11th 1941 after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour, in which Hitler declares war on the United States of America.
