Hello to everyone :))   This is my Reichswehr parade bayonet manufactured by Carl Eichhorn. I am sure, you all are more knowledgeable than me, but from what I've read, this Eichhorn mark was only used for a short amount of time in the mid 1920s. For my first post on this forum, I would like to show you my 1960s ROKMC Duckhunter shirt with shortened sleeves. Hi all, I would like to share this Ostmedaille (Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42) and would appreciate your opinions regarding originality and production characteristics. Details: Diameter: approx. 36 mm Weight: 21 grams Material: appears to be zinc Ring: unmarked Finish: typical late-war zinc patina with loss of original wash Ribbon: period ribbon The medal shows honest age and wear consistent with zinc examples. Based on the weight and surface characteristics, I believe it to be a later war production piece. I would welcome any comments regarding possible maker attribution or variant identification. 57 in this case is the size, if you have a  picture about all the internal stamp we can try to find more info.

To specify what I meant: Bulgarian/Hungarian, Spanish and Chinese helmets looked like the German Stahlhelm, but they looked NOTHING like the helmets in the picture. They are deformed and look like a mixture of different helmet types

While there is something off in the photo, taken at face value, I would say Hungarian. The ammo pouches look like M95 pouches and the uniforms look to possibly be Hungarian as well. I think the weird cut out helmet may have what is supposed to be a Hungarian tri color shield decal on it. Just my two cents.   Scott

Hello everybody.    Many years ago my brother got a pouch exactly like this for organizing his boy scout gear and such. I've been looking into it and now realize it's a military item. I've seen it advertised online as a Czech M24 ammo pouch but I don't know what gun this would be to as I have not found the M24 rifle this goes to. I'm seeing the M24 sniper rifle but it seems to not have a mag that is NEARLY long enough to fit in this.    Does anybody know what rifle this goes to, what years it was used, and just any other specs about it I suppose?   Thanks!   Wade  

Thanks Kia kaha for your first hand clarification, So, image was then captioned wrong.   This must be the cap then, the one here is a WWII one, but clearly the Cap Badge and Pugree is still was worn in the 1960s, the man at the Christmas Show didn't turn up the one side. Since he is RAAF, good chance this is at Bien Hoa, the location of that major  Free World Air Base.
