This gun hurled approximately 24,000 shells a day. The famous 'Atlantic Wall' photograph...     Naval Gun Battery Lindemann Cap Gris-Nez, France   Named after Ernst Lindemann, captain of the battleship Bismarck who had perished the previous year, this battery was begun at Sangatte, just west of Calais in 1942.   The battery was armed with three 406 mm. “Adolf” guns that had been  retrieved from Battery Schleswig Holstein in Poland. The standard shell for these guns weighed 2250 pounds, and could be fired up to 26 miles away. A second round weighed 1300 pounds, and could be launched up to 35 miles. The 65 foot long gun barrel had a life of 250-300 shots. The guns themselves were mounted in separate pillboxes, cast in reinforced concrete up to four meters thick. These guns regularly shelled south-east England. During the two years they were operational, they sent over 2200 shots across the Channel to England.       Defection or 'mental health day'?   Ich muss nach Hause gehen    

There are some cool late indochina/ Algeria war stuff found during the begining of 2026:       2 early TTA 47/53 pants, both have an indigenous size and they are dated 1953 and 1954       1 early TTA 47 53 with a rare C1 camo   A sweet french paratrooper helmet with a US ww2 westinghouse helmet liner and nov 1944 shell

I’m not aware of Norway making any M35 helmets, but I could be mistaken. The helmet shown above is an M35.
