Hello, anyone have an idea when this badge might have been produced? I beleive it's genuine, appears to be chrome rather than siver plated. A slight yellow hue can be seen on the reverse and on the obverse where some plating has worn at the edges.  Thanks Billyh

Wow! Thank you for the ID! I wasn’t able to find it myself. I carefully looked inside but did not see any markings. But now I know what to look for. The shop wants $95 US for it. Which seems to be a really good deal. But it’s out of my budget these days. It’s in beautiful condition. The only thing it seems missing is the cord that weaves through those eyelets that holds the line in place. Maybe I’ll offer $50?    Thanks again!  mikie

Very nice collection. To me the m1934 pistol is every bit as iconic as the Luger and 1911a1.

Would like to know if an original long m1870 bayonet would fit on a M1870/87/15 rifle? Been hearing yes and no, would like to know the facts before getting one. Thanks for any wisdom you have on the subject.

First Pattern Dispatch Rider's Helmet, British Army no?     Here a 1941 dated one. Check under the Sweatband for markings like this one below has.   https://www.blightymilitaria.com/en-GB/ww2-british-helmets-and-hats/scarce-original-1941-dated-first-pattern-dispatch-rider-s-helmet/prod_54751?srsltid=AfmBOoqGjuJ39qpgk_rtLtw0PDzB5qNQLLX3PkjtVd89uXoqmpPTwv3H

Mikie,   I am not 100% sure but it has some similar characteristics of the M1942 Australian Duperite helmet.. Made for Australian paratroopers but never used beyond training.. It looks like fiberglass material and the odd looking leather on the liner looks similar to the sides  of the Duperite helmet... What is throwing me is the number of eyelets around the rim.. Perhaps repurposed as a dispatch riders helmet???   Google Duperite helmet and you'll see what I mean   Best regards   Leigh

I spotted this at an antique shop. They don’t have an ID for it and I can find no markings at all. It looks like maybe a tanker helmet? Or maybe a motorcycle helmet? Do any of you know what this is?  Thanks in advance for looking, and even bigger thank you if you let me know what it is. mikie
