Hello everyone, I usually don’t post much, I mostly just follow the forum, but I’ll try to change that. This is my example of the Inter-Allied Victory Medal in the French version. A simple piece by the Paris Mint, with the cornucopia and BR marks, purchased at a street market in Spain. Could anyone provide more information about this case? Are these boxes genuinely French and authentic to the period? Regards, Marcius -

The helmet looks fine to me, entirely in light-colored leather. The liner has an ‘eight-finger’ configuration, a leather chinstrap, and a padded shock-absorbing lining. -

Actually, no. Italians have a Latin appearance with darker skin, but in the north there is also a look with very fair skin, blond hair, and light-colored eyes. The child below is my father; he has 100% Italian ancestry on both his father’s and mother’s side. -

Actually received my copy of this book today and after going through it thoroughly I managed to find my above badge. It’s British made mid 1930s…so would have been early war on older uniforms I expect. But doesn’t show as a wartime made version, shows just prior to war. Still good. Just thought I’d share that info😁fantastic book btw I would highly recommend -

Believe you are right Lars. Does indeed look like a Stug III Commander Hatch, with the utilization of the Scissor Scope -
