Hi all,   Does anyone know if the this type of ChiCom canteen was used in Vietnam?   Made of aluminium painted OD with a blue plastic/bakelite cap and a thin webbing harness with aluminium or very light alloy buckles. There are no markings of any kind anywhere.

The patch: A crown with nine spikes and pearls usually represents an earl or shire. Maybe this can help to track it down.

The marksmanship bull’s eye is/was a German Hitler Youth marksmanship pin with Hitler Youth diamond removed.  On the back should be  RMZ marking and pin assembly…”maybe”  

Relooking at my Osprey Men at Arms Battle of San Juan Hill book, its got an Order of Battle towards the rear of book, seen listed in the Spanish section 200 Guardia Civil  troops present for the Battle of Santiago, this  in that region, there was probably more Guardia Civil personnel in the Havana area as well, Santiago being in the Eastern part of Cuba, Havana is to the West,

You would need two in that case for your collection, the Tan one as seen here, and the Field Blue one.

Looks like perhaps, 1) RAF cloth "navigator wings?" 2) some sort of round shooting pin? & 3) unusual patch, possible Polish?  Any ideas will be appreciated, Cheers, Allen
