what a great collection of items with battle scars!! Vietnam defeated the US at the height of its power. To me, those items represent the courage of the Vietnamese people and their fight against a powerful nation that had no business being in Vietnam. -

In the 1970's Burt Lancaster hosted/narrated a documentary series called, I think, The Unknown War. American do not know that 80 to 90 percent of the German army was in Russia and that was the main theater of the war. Lancasters documentary was excellent and provide perspective Americans don't have and desperately need. -

I remember buying Norinco rifle in the late 1980's. I was always told the Chinese rifles were junk. I look at it now and I think this is a fine rifle, the SKS. Was that just brainwashing and propaganda to make Americans believe China did not build good weapons? -

Awesome photo! Thank you for posting it here! mikie Thanks everyone for looking and contributing! Much appreciated. I’ll let you know if I decide to get it. If it’s still there next weekend, and if I have time to go to the shop, I may come home with it. Retirement is approaching, and a possible move out of state afterwards, so I had resolved to wind up my collecting. Ha! Yeah, right 🤣🤣🤣. mikie -

Soldiers from the Swedish Skaraborgs regemente mid 1970’s. Base maintenance personnel never thought they would be spending so much time unclogging drains. -
