Finally got the liner and chin straps installed. Came out ok, I do like the black primer showing when the paint gets scratched off.  With flash and without.

I've gotten interested in finnish militaria recently and I have some questions. I was thinking about slowly putting together a set of stuff for ww2 or maybe postwar. So is there any good books on this subject easily available in the US? And any recommendations for where to buy stuff? I don't know much about this subject at the moment so I really would like to learn more. The "8" looks like a double strike to me.  Just a little sloppy strike.  

The Jubilee Medal "XX Years of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army" was awarded to staff and commanding officers of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army and Navy who had, as of February 23, 1938 (the Day of the Red Army), served for 20 years in its ranks.

That looks like a novelty jacket patch to me.  The RAF never wore that thing    -Ski
