It is most likely a Thai good luck medal, which is mixed with Chinese influences. The Chinese characters are for happiness, wealth and long life. The portrait on reverse is some spiritual master. -

Probably AI modified (or 100% created) indeed. This guy makes no sense at all. -

I'm hoping someone here can help me make a decision on purchasing this... I don't mind that it's in relic condition but I've read lots of different things about these specific SS helmets... Apparently this one was found in a bunker (as most where it seems like)..lol... The way that I look at this helmet is that it's in such relic condition, How could one fake it by applying a decal and then aging it to look like the rest of the old helmet?... But maybe that's a thing... This isn't my area of collecting and German stuff is such a minefield I try to steer clear of it... It's local so at least I can see it in person before buying it.... I honestly don't know what to look for other than what I've read about these ss helmets in this condition... So any opinions on it's authenticity would be much appreciated. Also what something like this might sell for.... Thanks -

It is Post War, Training School for Signals don't know when it and those like it came out first, late 40s sometime in the 50s???. They came in hand embroidered, Woven, here we guess the woven will be BeVo Like, and lastly they came in plastic, as yours is hand embroidered it is for an Officer, a commander/instructor at the school, ORs' ones were only in Plastic or Woven. Here's the Plastic Version -

I figured it out. It is Italian. It's a WWII Signals related patch. -

This patch came in a small lot of WWII era patches that are primarily British and Irish. I can't quite make out the writing at top. As you can see, the details in the lower patch are bullion and look like a torch emitting lightning bolts. Google photo searches have been negative. I would be grateful if someone could tell me what I have here. -

A reworked Austro-Hungarian M95. Lots of variations of this model floating around. -

As far as I know, just the jacket but to be honest, I never checked the pouches, straps, or belt, etc... Helmet is South African. Thank you for the kind words. Scott -

That is a great set. Just curious if any of the items were made in India? -

Voyez un uniforme de la Guardia Civil des années 1920s, il a pratiquement la même couleur marron. -

That could be it. This from the WIKI on the Suomi KP-31. Denmark: 32 were bought from Finland, some Swedish m/37-39 were also purchased[ and 1,400 copies, designated m/41, were manufactured in the kingdom during WWII until Germany disarmed all the Danish army in August 1943. So probably retrieved for use again after the Germans surrendered and were taken away to camps in May 45.
