“I welcome you as a collector living in Japan as well.” -

A Still from a moving picture believe this is the Sitzkrieg Winter of 39-40, Feld Grau Muetzen all around, no unit is given. Also gives a view of the necessity of the crews having to wear Greatcoats in cold weather for lack of anything more streamlined, that will have to wait till late 42 early 43 with the new Mouse Grey/Field Grey Winter tops and bottoms, later camouflage sets. -

If you are interested in U.S. ALICE equipment you should join the U.S militaria forum as well if you have not already. -

Not that I am aware of. Nice bayonets and a good collecting start. -

Frankly I do not like the construction of this sword. I generally go with the three strikes and you are out analogy. The first red flag for me is the pommel is non standard and poorly made. Second, the grip wrap is odd material and poorly attached. Third, the scabbard is non standard with odd brass parts and poorly put together. I think this sword is made up of odd parts and I would not buy it. Others may chime in. -

Hello everyone, I am a beginner collector from Japan. I started collecting military items a few years ago, mainly focusing on U.S. ALICE equipment. I also have some items related to the Yugoslav Wars and other military gear, although my collection is still small. I am not a soldier or law enforcement, just an enthusiast and collector. Since I only speak Japanese, I use machine translation (such as Google Translate and ChatGPT) to communicate. I appreciate your understanding. I am interested in learning more, sharing information, and asking questions about unidentified items or whether something is original or reproduction. Thank you!
