I think that's probably the case. However, it is possible that it was used in schools in areas occupied by the Empire of Japan during WWII. -

Mr. Bushido thank you very much. So this medal is Japanese? -

I aquired this VC boonie recently on a trip to Vietnam, along with some VC/NVA web gear. I think it's good, but I'm not 100% sure about the insignia. The boonie has the plastic(?) liner. -

This medal is likely unrelated to the military. In the past, Japanese schools awarded "scholarship medals【奨學牌】" to students with excellent grades. -

heres a real one from the gettysburg museum of history collection... a couple of things look wrong when you compare, but the mushiness of the back side eagle head & swastika messiness would make me skeptical. and the fact the markings on the wrong side.🤷♂️ but im not an expert on these buckles. -

Now here's a grizzled old Combat Officer for you, a winner of the Blue Max, no name given (I hate when people upload photos with no ID or anything don't you!). Since he's seems like one of your older Officers, a Major it seems, he probably is a Reserve Officer, maybe even Landwehr i.e Major der Landwehr etc. -

Hey just now found a photo of this actual captured Soviet SU 57, at first we thought it came to grief under German ownership, but it seems to be parked and has a tarp covering it's nose, we thought at first it was it's engine hood blown up, like it was hit and the hood got twisted and stuff.
