Looks like this WW2 soldier is sporting a 7th Armoured Division patch. Can anyone interpret the other patch/badges he is wearing for me? Thank you. -

I ran the info in AI. AI seems to think this tag belonged to someone in Jager replacement company 45. Any further help is greatly appreciated. I am not very well versed in translating these tags. Thank you. -

Hello everyone, I would like to show a General Assault Badge (Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen) from an estate grouping. Type: General Assault Badge in silver Material: zinc (non-magnetic) Manufacturer: Frank & Reif, Stuttgart (marked on reverse) The badge shows the typical design with eagle and swastika above crossed bayonet and stick grenade, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath. The reverse is maker marked “FRANK & REIF STUTTGART” and features a vertical pin setup. The hardware appears to be typical for this maker, with a hinge and catch consistent with known examples. The finish shows expected wear and typical zinc characteristics. I would appreciate any opinions regarding originality, maker characteristics, and classification. Best regards Michael -

Yes mikie, it's the solid top with circular hatch and rectangle hatch that was unique to this vehicle which is based on the chassis and superstructure of the small 250 Half track, Plus the troops wearing the Field Grey Panzer uniforms with the Sturmgeschütz in the background tells us it's got to be that special haff track that worked alongside these vehicles, I just didn't remember off the top of my head what was called. -

Ok, I’ll bite. How the heck ( I hope I can say heck here 😁) can you tell what vehicle this is from that picture? There isn’t much shown of it. Was that hatch unique to these? mikie -

Found another up close shot of it. 1942 USSR The commander of the vehicle looks like a Major or a Lieutenant Colonel, must be the Stug Battalion Commander then.
