Thirty years ago in the early years of the internet, I met a man in Norway that wanted US insignia. He was in the guard and going to college. We couldn't send pictures so had to do it by snail mail. These patches and insignia set in my collection still in the package they were mailed in. Recently I found more of the obsolete ones on an auction. So decided to get them out and show them off here. Included are some of the correspondence from Mr Lund in Norway. -

Finally found a reasonably priced Air rank cap to finish the collection. I am sure there is a story behind the squadron sticker inside, but I have no idea what it would be. Unfortunately, it covers the manufacturer’s logo and has been there a long time. -
