The SS pullover smock

Featured Replies

#76

By 1940 demand for the pullover stepped up with more units being issued the camouflage jackets.
Production changed slightly with rollers being used in the printing process increasing yardage.
The m 40 jacket had a simpler placket lacking the square.
The blurred edge pattern makes its debut and was seen till wars end on every front.

Cuffs still running on the selvedge

As the war progressed this process got confused with odd ball sewing jobs.
But m38 m 40 is consistent.
