This is a portrait of a British officer, who would serve in the Royal Scots Greys, 2nd Dragoons. Around WWI. Would love to find out what medal he is wearing. Also, those aren't the RSG insignia that I know. Anyone have an idea what he is wearing? He would go on to win the Military Cross, but this medal isn't that.

I found the medal . . . it is the 1902 Edward VII Coronation Medal.

Still would like to know what the collar devices are! Thanks!

I’m certainly not an expert, but I believe the collar insignia is for the Grenadier Guards.
