As seldom seen sign for the British Indian Army Lushai Brigade. An improvised fighting force formed in March of 44. The brigade saw continuous action into early 45. Was involved in hard fighting in the jungles of the Arakan and in the battle of Imphal. The buffalo head of the patch is set in a "V" for victory. This particular piece was brought home by a US Army Officer. Notes as to how he acquired the sign are on the reverse.
