SARGE Posted October 25, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2018 Gents, I thought I would show an early East German rifle ammunition pouch. Notice that the smooth black leather two pocket pouch is made after the form of the three pouch WWII German version but that the Y shaped front straps mimic the brown leather Soviet design. This early design was subsequently replaced with a similar pouch replacing the Y shaped strap with a single one. There was also an East German made pouch that had a single pocket again in the Soviet style. Notice the maker name and 1950 date.
Guest Windraider Posted February 15, 2019 Share #2 Posted February 15, 2019 Hello, this is a pouch for a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine. DDR-Produktion. Here is a picture. There are members of the "Kampfgruppen der Arbeiterklasse" (combat troops of the working class) also called "Betriebskampftruppen" (company combat troops ) with this weapon and a pouch - with single strap?
