nkumburis Posted November 25, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 25, 2018 All, This is a local antique store find. When I was looking around I noticed the crown in the belt buckle is unusually large compared to other ww1 german belt buckles. Unfortunately, I cannot find out anything about this belt buckle. If anyone has any additional info I would greatly appreciate it! - Nick K
daniel griffin Posted November 26, 2018 Share #2 Posted November 26, 2018 That is the Prussian buckle used during the Franco-Prussian war, a little larger than the WWI type.

gomorgan Posted January 17, 2019 Share #4 Posted January 17, 2019 Not rare but tough to locate in that condition, also many of these were unit stamped on the lip of the buckle
