Here are two Officer's visor hats from my collection one is 1968 an the other is 1971 dated

Nice Visors, Robert! Especially the second one that seems to be in better condition than the first one. If you don't mind I'm adding a NCO/enlisted one for comparison with red piping for Artillery. It's a 1963 dated sealed sample from Albert Kempf hat factory in nearly mint condition.

Neat 1960s caps guys.  Is the attached tag on the NCO/EM cap a post WWII style "Probe" (pattern) sample tag?

Did we mention that these Schirmmuetzen can still be worn today referring to Bundeswehr regulations? Attached pictures of a private tailored/purchased Schirmmuetze a friend of mine received last week.
