SS, Panzer or WW1 Hussar Skull?

Here is a skull that I know nothing about. I know it is real since I received it with a number of other pieces including the lighter and coin from my uncle who served in Europe during WW2. It looks like a number of early SS Danziger skull but I also thought it may be Panzer or a WW1 Hussar piece. The SS dagger is a "GI Joe" prototype. Thanks.
