I'm very sorry for terrible photo but when a Civil War Collector and friend showed what was in an old, dirty bug eaten trunk he bought out of a shed all I had to take a picture with is my 10 year  old flip phone.  I will see him this Sunday and take my camera with me.  In the meantime can you see enough to broadly ID?  Richard

I can't make out the writing on the badge, but it sure matches up with some vintage British helmets on line, especially some Home Service helmets.

I thought I had posted a better pic taken with my camera.  I had a response from a friend in Canada he said it was a VICTORIAN period ROYAL MARINES LIGHT INFANTRY.  Here is the pic  hopefully the coin and relic dealer at the Flea Mkt will give me a price tomorrow.  I've also been told to stay under $200.00 and I can make alittle ??:?  Beats me?   Richard
