ed101 Posted February 3, 2020 Share #1 Posted February 3, 2020 I am helping an old friend (turned 85 recently) liquidate some of his 50 year collection. This buckle is steel and has the appearance of agem but I am not well versed in these. opinions as far as originality and perhaps ball park value would be appreciated. Thanks in advance to all the helpful individuals on this forum.

August Posted June 3, 2021 Share #3 Posted June 3, 2021 No offense to your friend, but I don’t like it. The back is pretty bad - the quality is just not there, and SS buckles did not have a leather tab.
Mr.Jerry Posted June 7, 2021 Share #4 Posted June 7, 2021 I would concur. The steel ones are usually marked RODO. there may be other makers.
Kurt Barickman Posted June 16, 2021 Share #5 Posted June 16, 2021 Yes, this example does not talk to me either. Kurt
