teamski Posted December 4, 2018 #1 Posted December 4, 2018 I traded some British medals for this group back in the 1990's to a RCAF member who was stationed in Belgium. I was stationed in the UK at the time. I really loved the Yser medallion that has Goffin's name engraved on the reverse. A really nice group with a great array of Belgian orders and medals along with the bars and red cross for wounds on the WWI Commemorative medal. -Ski

jagjetta Posted December 4, 2018 #4 Posted December 4, 2018 Fantastic group...Belgian medals rarely get the credit they deserve--this group is the exception! It is very neat that the Yser medal was engraved. Thanks so much for posting! John
teamski Posted February 13, 2019 Author #5 Posted February 13, 2019 I didn't want to leave this thread without showing the naming on the reverse of the medallion. -Ski
