I traded some British medals for this group back in the 1990's to a RCAF member who was stationed in Belgium. I was stationed in the UK at the time. I really loved the Yser medallion that has Goffin's name engraved on the reverse. A really nice group with a great array of Belgian orders and medals along with the bars and red cross for wounds on the WWI Commemorative medal.

Stellar grouping in remarkable condition. Thank you for sharing with us. Can you tell us what the three personal decorations are?

Thanks! From left to right: The Order of the Crown with swords, Order of Leopold II with swords and Belgian Croix de Guerre with mention in despatches.......

Fantastic group...Belgian medals rarely get the credit they deserve--this group is the exception!

It is very neat that the Yser medal was engraved.

Thanks so much for posting!

I didn't want to leave this thread without showing the naming on the reverse of the medallion.
