MattS Posted December 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted December 24, 2018 This may be an Anti-Preservation topic, but I am looking for suggestions on taking modern reproduction embroidered insignia (such as cap badges made in Pakistan) and making it look used. I'm not out to deceive anyone, I just prefer it to not be so shiny and new. Thanks!
vintageproductions Posted December 24, 2018 Share #2 Posted December 24, 2018 When I worked on some costuming projects we would lightly spray the patches with water, or a mixture of water and vinegar and put them in direct sunlight for a few days.
