tanks1921 Posted February 12, 2019 #1 Posted February 12, 2019 (1) Scope serial number mis-matched to the rifle. Do not have the transit case or some of the accessories.
tanks1921 Posted February 12, 2019 Author #3 Posted February 12, 2019 (3) The complete rig. The sling looks like a U.S. GI M1907 or BAR sling. Anybody know?
tanks1921 Posted February 12, 2019 Author #5 Posted February 12, 2019 (5) Scope serial # stamped here (mis-matched)
teamski Posted February 13, 2019 #16 Posted February 13, 2019 She's a beaut! I have a sniper as well that my dad had for many years. It doesn't have the "T" mark on the receiver though. I has all of the other marks and the staking is very clean and looks authentic. Can't figure it out. -Ski
tanks1921 Posted February 13, 2019 Author #17 Posted February 13, 2019 I've seen all matching rifles with the transit box and accessories for sale, but be prepared to shell out some big bucks! Not as bad as an M1C though.
tanks1921 Posted February 13, 2019 Author #18 Posted February 13, 2019 (16) Hope this helps anybody thinking about buying a No.4 Mk.1 (T). A good book on Enfield's is "The Lee-Enfield" by Ian Skennerton. A sight adjustment tool is recommended if you plan on shooting it.
edstorey Posted February 14, 2019 #19 Posted February 14, 2019 This is my No. 4 Mk I(T) Sniper. The sling is a US M1907.
tanks1921 Posted February 14, 2019 Author #20 Posted February 14, 2019 Nice, I think the M1907 looks better.
Kanemono Posted February 15, 2019 #21 Posted February 15, 2019 Great rifle. I had one in the seventy's when they were affordable. Wish I had kept it.
Brian Keith Posted February 18, 2019 #22 Posted February 18, 2019 Nice rifles! Thanks for posting them. I saw one about 1980 at a local gun show, transit chest, looked complete, worst $300 I didn't spend, wish I had. BKW
T BIRD Posted August 30, 2023 #24 Posted August 30, 2023 INTERESTING SNIPER WITH EARLY COCKING PIECE, NOT THE USUALLY SEEN FLAT 3 RIDGE TYPE
