pvon Posted March 20, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted March 20, 2019 Collectors I thought I would bring up some very important info! The care and handle of SS visors! These SS visors are very expensive! So you must protect your investment! Moths, poor display that stress the thread on these visors! They are old! Visor brim gets loose! Some thing rips! Most of us are not trained in this! I was a steelworker! But always wanted something nice and as I saved for these types of itemsI I learned real quick the money could disapear with improper storage and handeling of these beautiful relics! Moths are not good! You see anything and oh! No! Do you have a guy who can fix a loose brim? Lets say the visor was over 5 to 7 K! And the one above was! You can not let every collector handle these visors! They all want to see the inside and markings! I suggest you take your pics for folks to see! And maybe the guy who is a firm buyer! Not some yo yo who wants to man handle your visor! If the sweat is not beading on your head it should! I must be honest as these visors were going up in demand and price you start to think! God these 3 visors are now worth a new car! Officers were 10 k and up! If you are not rich you sweat! I was just a working fella! Moths, stress on thread, theft.fire, fools touching at a show!Yikes! I sold them because of worry! This is some info for collectors on any headgear! Hope this helps! PVON
