Here is a SS fencing broach my friend Andy has!

A very nice fencing award. How was it worn? Does it have a pin back?

 

Here is a Police Fencing award in the form of a non-wearable bronze table medal. These were also sometimes affixed to wooden plaques or nailed to the walls of the Sports Club.

A nice looking piece but I have some concerns. That wide style catch I have only seen on post war badges. Would be nice to see much better pictures of the whole badge, markings, hinge and so on.

Glad to see you post!

 

I took this photo a couple of yrs ago at a show!

 

Thought it was interesting as I have never seen one before!

 

As SS stuff goes,I trust nothing! My friend Andy had this,He is 80

and collects SS honor rings which I will post in a topic!

 

Andy has been sick so further pics not available!

 

Looking at it tellsme fencing for sure!

 

I do not know german jewelry so time frame is out of my area!

 

As you know engraving is always something to give pause too!

 

But being fencing item,I sure think its different!

 

Seeing this is a new forum and really could use topics and

items to discuss,I feel showing stuff might help future members!

 

If its of possible interest I will show stuff I might not collect or have !

 

Many yrs of collecting allows me to know lots of collectors and they will

let me take pics and share!

 

I look forward to you posting stuff and info for learning!
