Ken Crane Posted August 15, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 15, 2020 One of the cooler aspects of collecting Rhodesian army items is their insignia. Here are some of my cloth insignia (outside of the RRR items I keep separate).
Ken Crane Posted August 15, 2020 Author Share #2 Posted August 15, 2020 One of my favorite items are the various brigade patches. They came in embroidered and printed versions. I'm still missing a good "used" 3rd brigade printed version.

Kia kaha Posted October 8, 2020 Share #18 Posted October 8, 2020 these are what’s called “garter tabs” worn under the fold on the Hose top,Stockings or socks. Sometimes found sewn to a piece of elastic used to hold the hose top up. The Royal Rhodesian Regiment wore these next to the shin bone with an inch showing beneath the fold. They were never issued because APJI's didn't exist in Rhodesia. A few officers wore on the Greens or on mess dress a British bullion wing but it was unofficial and high ranking officers I guess could do what they wanted. However very few of them did it. Bottom left hand corner is not Rhodesian.
