Kia kaha Posted November 24, 2020 Author Share #6 Posted November 24, 2020 Biafran hand painted, bolts of khaki cotton were hand painted with dye and then cut and sewn into uniforms. This uniform was found in a shop or stall during Op Turmoil - Rhodesian Security Forces attack ZIPRA's Kavalamanja base in Zambia in March 1978, it had just been laundered and was waiting to be picked up . I believe it to be Biafran and given to the ZIPRA cadres in Nigerian training camps. other stuff found with the uniform.
kammo-man Posted November 24, 2020 Share #7 Posted November 24, 2020 Fantastic on every way.We were thinking it was hand painted almost like the first pattern Denison smocks !And the paper work also !Very unique I bet there are not many of those in existence. Thanks for the education.Owen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
